Registry Easy uses a high performance detection algorithm that quickly finds and repairs you registry errors including missing and invalid entries. At the same time Registry easy will backup and files it fixes so you can easily and quickly recover and changes that have been made.

You can just let Registry Easy automatically scan your computer (great for non technical computer users) or if you wish you can customise your scan and select the errors you wish to scan for and fix.

When you first open Registry Easy you are presented with a simple program interface and you start in the scan and clean section with three options: Registry Cleaner, Junk File cleaner and Evidence Cleaner. Registry cleaner gives you the option to scan automatically for all the most common registry entity error problems or you can manually select with registry entries you wish to scan and find out if there are any problems in. Scanning for errors with all the different registry options chosen isn’t quite a quick as some of the other registry fixer programs I have tested but it isn’t a huge, boring wait either. Once the scan is finished you are presented with a list of each registry error found and a checkbox next to each so you can select individual entrys if you wish or just choose to remove them all. Like all the registry fixer program I have reviewed Registry Easy requires you to purchase the program before it will actually remove the errors it has found.

The junk filer cleaner is a pretty neat option you don’t see much in these types of programs. It will search for among other things large files generated by crashes, files with zero size and temporary files. I like this feature and it’s helpful it removing a lot of stuff that can bog your computer down.

The evidence cleaner is another good feature of Registry Easy. Using this options means you can have the program remove your cookies, history, address bar history plus many, many more.

Registry Easy also have a full registry backup option and you can set restore points if you’re running Windows Xp or 2000.

Registry Easy also has a feature called Browser HOM Manager. With this feature you can manage all your internet explorer objects. I haven’t come across this feature in any other Registry fixer program I have reviewed. Also you can restore Internet Explorer to its default state. Great if your browser gets hijacked by spyware.

Registry Easy also has a whole host of options to optimise you system including block activeX. Scan and fix your windows system errors, register Activex and tweak your memory. Again many of these features aren’t found in the many of the registry fixers I have tested so it was nice to discover these added features which would greatly help speedup and improve a computers performance.

Finally Registry Easy has a Windows startup manager so you can customise your startup programs. This is a great feature and by removing unnecessary programs from your startup you can improve your systems performance greatly.

I think Registry Easy is a very good program with a host of features and options you don’t see in many of the registry fixer programs out there. Easy enough for the non-techie user but also has all the advanced features you may need if you feel like taking the time to learn them.
