SPEED UP INTERNET EXPLORER 7
If you are using IE7 (Most people does!), you
can improve the speed with few tweak. IE7 did improve lots of good user
experience, however it trade performance for every improvements! If you want
more speed then better user experience, you can turn off all / some of the
new features.
Turn Off Phising Filter
Phising is a term borrows from fishing, just like hacker putting up a
phising website to attract visitors and plan some worm, virus or backdoor
script on their computer. Some may just imitate other popular website to
cheat for login password.
Go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced -> Security -> Phising Filter ->
Turn off automatic web site checking.


Turn Off RSS Feed
If you don’t visit RSS feed site frequently, suggest disabling it for faster
browsing experience.
r Go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Content -> Feeds Settings -> Advanced
-> Uncheck “Turn on feed reading view”.

Disable ClearType for HTML pageDisable page
ClearType font rendering provides a better user experience during browsing,
all fonts is smoothen during runtime and this cost a lots of processing
power! By turning off rendering font, your browser will instantly boost its’
speed.
Go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced -> Multimedia -> “Always use
ClearType for HTML”

Turn off proxy detection
If you don’t use proxy server, turn off the auto proxy detection function.
Go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Connections -> LAN Settings -> Uncheck “Automatic Configuration “-> OK.

Increase Number of Connections to 16
You are default to 2 connections, to speed up your multi-tasking ability,
you need to increase your connections. Copy and paste the code below into
notepad, save as “conn.reg”, then double click it to enter the entries into
Windows Registry.

Use OpenDNS if you are in United State
Open DNS has a faster response rate compare to normal ISP DNS server, only
if you are living in United State or Canada.
Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Network and Internet Connections ->
Network Connections -> right click “Local Area Network”-> Properties ->
General -> Internet Protocol (TCP / IP).
Or Start -> run… -> type “ncpa.cpl” -> right click “Local Area Network”->
Properties -> General -> Internet Protocol (TCP / IP).
Key in the New DNS No: 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220.
Disable SSVHelper Class Plug-in
Tools->Manage Add-ons->Enable or Disable Add-ons. Select SSVHelper Class and
disable it.
Disable Check for Network Schedule Task
Internet Explorer or Windows Explorer will attempt to search for Schedule
Task for default settings, try to disable it by deleting the entry below:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer \RemoteComputer\NameSpace

By deleting this will not only boost your Internet speed, but also your
